Children’s Church

Kent and Melissa Fultz

Kent and Melissa Fultz
Kingwood Christian Fellowship’s children’s church program, The Dawg House, is held each Sunday beginning at 10:30am in the gymnasium.
The Dawg House is hosted by Kent and Melissa Fultz featuring everyone’s favorite hound Dougy Dawg. Children will enjoy a new challenge every week as Dougy relates his good times and bad times with the children. Your child will be encouraged to “live the good life” using the Bible as their guide. We dance, sing, play games, read Gods word and, of course, we have delicious snacks.
The Dawg House club, is open to every child age 4-11.When a child visits the Dawg House for the fourth time they become a member and receive a neat doggy bag filled with gifts from Kingwood Christian Fellowship, including a tee shirt, Bible and some cool dog themed items.
All children are accepted and loved at the Dawg House.
Wednesday Youth Group

Ken Stewart
Our teen class meets on Wednesday nights to fellowship and focus on topics that are pertinent to the challenges they face daily. With dynamic leaders that are trained in the Word, determined to make learning fun and help bring up our youth in the way they should go.
Never Alone Ministries

Dottie Stewart
The Never Alone Group is open to any individual who feels called to share part of their day, once a month, with others who live alone. The group meets the second Saturday of each month at 10 am at the church. The group also coordinates fun trips and other activities.
Long-term Care Facilities Visitation
This outreach group visits residents of local facilities to share a song, a smile, and some fellowship. Hopemont visitation is the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm. Heartland is on the last Thursday of the month at 7pm.
The Salvage Yard
Our Videos

Phil and Bev Mayle
The Salvage Yard is the teen group at KCF. The name came from the idea that all of us are living in the same ‘yard’ (or rather on the same planet). None of us are garbage, but rather, we are salvageable in God’s eyes. Our minds and lives are recyclable through God’s mercy and grace.
Teens gather in the gym on Friday nights (7:30-10 PM) for activities and games; some teens come to just ‘hang out’. Activities include basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, video games, pool and games. We do a short message that relates to the teens and teachs them about God. Sometimes we have special activities; such as ‘lock-ins’, indoor yardsales, parties, DJ dances/karaoke, and bon fires. This a time for teens to feel safe and have a great time meeting other teens.
Media
KCF is committed to getting the word out! Our Media Ministry offers opportunities for the tech savvy to create something great for God. Our worship services are aired weekly on Preston County Channel 7, and our Media Team creates CD’s and DVD’s of services weekly for those who liked what they heard and want to share.
