The purpose of our church is to progressively become “An authentic model of Christ-like community that experiences, demonstrates and shares the love of God.”
Jesus’ Great Commandment and Great Commission are the foundation for all we are and do.
The Great Commandment: “Jesus said: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart …. soul …. and mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)
The Great Commission: “Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you’ ….” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
To “Love your neighbor as yourself” is ministry.
To “Go and make disciples” is evangelism.
To “Baptize ….” is to assimilate into fellowship.
To “Teach them to obey everything” is discipleship.
What We Believe
✟ We believe that the Bible is fully inspired by God, that it is entirely trustworthy and that it is the authority for faith and life.
✟ We believe that there is one God, that He is personal, almighty and perfect; that He created all things and that He exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
✟ We believe that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, that He was born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. We believe He died in our place atoning for all human sin, rose bodily from the dead and ascended to the Father’s side.
✟ We believe in the value and dignity of all people, created in God’s image to live in love and holiness but now alienated from God having become sinners by nature and by choice.
✟ We believe that God in His great love for us has provided forgiveness for all who confess their sinfulness and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
✟ We believe that the Holy Spirit imparts eternal life to all who believe, enabling them to believe in Christ, indwelling them, empowering them to grow in holiness and equipping them to serve God in the church and in the world.
✟ We believe that all those who have believed on Jesus together constitute His Church. We believe that this universal Church is manifested in local churches which are to fulfill the Lord’s command to make disciples.
✟ We believe in baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. Water baptism is an outward sign of what the Holy Spirit has performed in the heart of the believer. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of His sacrifice in securing our redemption.
✟ We believe in the personal return and victorious reign of Jesus Christ, who will judge in equity and justice all people who have ever lived giving over those who were unrepentant to eternal condemnation but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.
The mission of our church is growing people to impact their world and beyond.
